Do not let your Heart be Troubled.

Ministry of the Word (MOW):

True Spirituality (TS).

Improving our Spiritual Understanding

Theme: Do not let your Heart be Troubled.

Memory Verse:

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1).

Beloved,

Let’s praise his Holy Name. Let praise the One with a name above every other name. Let’s praise the One who thirsted so we may be filled. Let’s praise Him who became poor so that we would enjoy abundant riches. Let’ praise the Lion of the tribe of Judah,  the one called the Word of God. Let’ praise the Way, the Truth and the Life. Let’s praise the resurrection and the life. Let’s praise our great provider. Let’s praise Jehovah El-Shaddai. Let’s praise the Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of peace, Everlasting Father. Let’s adore Him. Let’s worship Him etc. In Jesus Mighty Name we have worshiped.

Beloved, the Lord says, do not let your heart be troubled. The challenges we go through in life in Christ Jesus, are what God uses to build us, tame us, sharpen us and strengthen us, if we faint not. Many children of God, out of ignorance, tend to focus on their challenges so easily, rather than on the burden bearer. They complain and murmur at the slightest challenge, instead of learning to obey the Word: “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1Thess 5:18). If you learn to keep your focus on the Word of God, the Problem Solver, you will always have joy no matter what you are going through. He assures you that if you persevere in your faith, all your challenges, “shall turn to you for a testimony”(Luke 21:13). Thank you JESUS!

One man that suffered so much for Jesus Christ was Paul, the apostle. He was threatened many times, beaten many times, imprisoned many times, but instead of lamenting or complaining, with the grace of God upon his life he remained joyful, and was confident to say:

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body” (2Cor 4:8-10).

I have often heard questions such as: “ Why should a good God allow so much sufferings in the world? I know many ministers of God who will attribute the suffering in the world to the three letter word SIN. This is true to a large extent, but not always. For example, the suffering Job (Job 1:13-19), went through was not because of his sin. Job 1:1 testifies that he “was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil”. When Jesus was asked by his disciples regarding the man born blind from birth, whether the man sinned right from his womb or he was afflicted by his parents’ sin, Jesus’ response was very instructive: “Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him”( John 9:3). God allows certain challenges (some may call them suffering), so that his glory may be manifested. Indeed, this was the case in the resurrection of Lazarus. This is what Jesus told Martha (Lazarus’s sister): “Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God” (John 11:40).

Truly, long suffering is a nature of the true God, hence it is a component of the ‘fruit of the Spirit’: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith; Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23). It is your responsibility to let your challenges bring glory to God in Christ Jesus. This is what God expects of you.

Learn to thank God in Christ whenever you pass through the storms of life. This is why Saint James admonishes us:

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” (James 1:2-4).

Beloved, may your life challenges never be in vain. May your storms of life bring glory to God in Jesus name. Amen.

It shall be well with you this 2015 in Jesus precious name.

To grow spiritually increasingly requires daily meditation in the word of God.  Train yourself yourself to be godly.

Prayer: To every reader of this message, receive the grace to turn your life challenges into testimony in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

A Call To Salvation!

If you have read this message by chance, but  you are undecided or have no clarity whether you want to give your life to Christ. I would encourage you to give it a trial. Please, pray this prayer with us:

“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I confess all my sins to you right now. Please forgive my sins and give me the  gift and joy of eternal life. I ask you to come into my heart and life right now and be my Lord and Saviour. Lord, please write my name in the book  of Life.  I promise to sincerely surrender all to you and serve you diligently always from now on, in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen”. Congratulations! You are now spiritually  born again in Christ Jesus. I would encourage you to join any word based bible fellowship group of your choice. Please, be prayerful in choosing the group .

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to “seek first the kingdom of God  his righteousness”..Matt 6:33). We stress that: Righteousness exalts a person (Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from all forms of bondage, ignorance, disease and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus  Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1; Rev 19:13). We emphasise that Jesus  is the Truth (John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We avoid the dilution, misinterpretation or deliberate corruption of the words of God. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, aside from soul winning, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers with knowledge using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will be compelled to believe and exalt His  holy name (Psalm 46:10).

One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Indeed, “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Prov 11:9). We are established by the righteousness in the word of God (Isa 54:14).

Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in Jesus Name. Amen. Websites: http//www.ministryoftheword.org; http//www.abasihealthfoundation.org
