Theme: Mouth and Wisdom!

Memory Verse:
“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist” (Luke 21:15).

Beloved
We bless God in Christ Jesus for a new week. We bless God for guiding us through this month. April, the 4th month is usually not without events.

Beloved, this week, the Lord wants you to pay attention to the word that comes out of your mouth. Many people in the church lack understanding of the significance of our mouth. The most important reason God has given us mouth is to ‘war warfare’ with it, even though eating and drinking with our mouth are important.

In our memory verse, Jesus promised to give us a ‘mouth and wisdom’ to be able to defeat our adversaries . Many people could spend hours talking, without a single word of God in their words. Talkativeness without the word of God leads to sin. The book of Proverbs says: “In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise” (Proverbs 10:19).

God in Christ Jesus has given us a mouth and wisdom to make us fruitful and to live a life of abundance. The wisdom of God is quite different from the wisdom of this world; make good use of it: “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy” (James 3:17).

Brethren, henceforth, do warfare with the word of God; war a good warfare with the word of truth. Life is essentially a battle field. Life offers you what you demand, not what you deserve. Do not just relax and be chanting that you are a winner, without being a fighter; only a fighter can emerge a winner.
Apostle Paul admonished his son, Timothy:
“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare” (1Timothy 1:18).
You are in covenant with the ONE with all powers. He has given this power to you:
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
For every situation that challenges your life, there is appropriate prescription of the solution in the word of God.
Henceforth , make good use of your mouth and the wisdom in the word of God.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Prayer: There is someone reading this message, receive the grace to make good use of your mouth and wisdom in the word of God in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
