Theme: Spiritual Violence is the Answer.

Memory Verse:

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” ( Matthew 11:12).

Beloved

The Lord is speaking to someone through this message. One major reason why many brothers and sisters have missed their breakthroughs is the lack of spiritual violence or lack of spiritual aggression when dealing with specific issues.

The Almighty God is a strategist when at war. He has never lost a battle. Henceforth, the LORD is asking His children to approach issues with spiritual violence as per our memory verse: “The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name” (Exodus 15:3).

In Genesis 32, the bible tells us of how Jacob wrestle with with an angel of God (God) aggressively and persistently until the angel said: “Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me” (Genesis 32:26). Jacob was blessed and got his name changed from Jacob to Israel (verse 28).

In the book of Isaiah 38:1-5, after Prophet Isaiah has delivered a negative message from God to King Hezekiah, the bible says Hezekiah quickly went on his knees: “Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD” (verse 2). I have heard people argue that God never changes His mind. That what He had said He will do is what He will do. This is not truth. God can be provoked to change His mind when He sees sincere penitent reactions. On this occasion, because Hezekiah reacted accordingly, God changed his mind. Hear Him:
“Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years” ( verse 5).

Please, compare these two cases to the reaction of Eli, the priest, when he received a negative message from God through a little boy, Samuel:
“And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good” (1 Samuel 3:18).

Eli did nothing, instead said God should do what seems good to Him.

Beloved, God expects you to prayerfully and spiritually react penitently, aggressively, violently and persistently whenever you are faced with a negative situation. There are many brothers and sisters who are looking for their life partners, but do nothing, believing God will “do what seemed good”. Many a times what you hear from them is something like this: “God knows my heart desire”. God expects you to be specific, persistent, aggressive and spiritually violent when dealing with issues. Once you have received the Holy Spirit, your words become creative. You speak what you want into being in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit of God “calleth those things which be not as though they were” ( Romans 4:17). Henceforth, say no to passive Christianity.
One of the biggest problems we have in the church today is the lack of the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism. The cold and lukewarm nature of the church today has enabled evil to thrive within the body of Christ. It has enabled demons, witches, wizards and agents of darkness to feel comfortable and to ‘enjoy’ fellowship with true children of God.
John the Baptist, who heralded Jesus, declared: “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” (Math 3:11).

Please, pray for the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism. Jesus is the only one that can baptize us with the Holy Spirit.
Truly, the Holy Spirit can only flow through a pure medium. The word of God is the purest material in heaven and on earth. The Psalmist affirms this: “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times” (Ps 12:6). Without the chaff in us be destroyed or cut off, by the fire of the Holy Spirit, it is difficult for us to carry the power of God.
By the grace of God, I am confident that the wind of revival currently blowing in the church is going to rekindle the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism, which is the complete and perfect baptism of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This should enable children of God to be spiritually aggressive and violent , when dealing with issues.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). However, the first thing you must desire greatly is total spiritual freedom through the truth in the word of God ( John 8:32).
Prayer: There is someone reading this message, receive the grace of spiritual aggression and violence in Jesus mighty name. Amen
