The Law of Harvest.

Improving our Spiritual Understanding.
Theme: The law of Harvest!
Memory Verse:
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Gal 6:7)
Beloved,
In this season of the LORD doing a New Thing for us, if there is one thing you must know increasingly and pay great attention to on a daily basis, it is the law of harvest. The  law of harvest is divine, very potent and powerful.
It is so important to God that He himself respects and obeys it. Indeed, we understand from the scripture that God sowed His only beloved Son, Jesus Christ to humanity, so that He  would have many more sons (John 1:12; Romans 8:19).
The law of harvest works for both the believers and the unbelievers.  Some people call it the law of Karma. Some call it the law of retributive justice. You may call it whatever you like, but believe me, we reap exactly what we sow.  If we sow sparingly, we reap sparingly. If we sow weed we reap weed. If we sow junk, we reap junk. If we sow goodness, we reap goodness.  However, it is important to know that the harvest is always greater than the seed.
Brother Paul admonishes us: “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully”(2Cor 9:6).
According Prophet Obadiah: “For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head “(Obadiah v15).
Unfortunately, many people in the Church  deprive themselves of blessings inherent in daily obedience of the law of harvest.  Everyone has a SEED to sow. Everyone has an opportunity  to help humanity by working with the Lord. It could be through words of ENCOURAGEMENT or act of kindness in our neigbour hood  or place of work. Remember,  whatever you do, do it as to the Lord and not for man in accordance with the Word:
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men…”(Col 3:23-24).
Sowing can be physical (material things), mental (fruitfulness of the mind or mental ideas) and spiritual (things relating to the kingdom of God). We can sow in money, time, goodness, kindness, mercy, honesty, transparency, compassion, righteousness, integrity, purity, truth etc. We can sow even in our thoughts, words and deeds.  We have to be diligent so that we do not sow both good seed and bad seed (weed) out of ignorance.
God himself is very much in obedience of this law. He relates to us according to how we relate to Him. The Psalmist tells us this much: “With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself forward”(Ps 18:25-26).
Jesus himself says:  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy (Matt 5:7). So if we want God to be merciful to us, we have to be merciful to others. Again, He says: Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God (Matt 5:8). So if we desire to see God, we have to sow in purity. If you want God to forgive you, forgive others when they wrong you: “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses” (Mark 11:26).
Beloved, in Christ Jesus, we have not been saved to sit down and be grumbling, murmuring, complaining or live a miserable life. We have been saved to go out and sow good seed. You obtain a great reward for every soul you win to Christ, especially when you guide such soul to maturity. Believe me, no matter your present situation, you have got something to sow. What is that in your hand? What is that in your lip? What is that in your heart? What is that in your tongue? Always remember to sow in purity, hence, brother Paul admonished Timothy: “Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned “(1Tim 1:5).
Brother Peter enables us to know that nothing can ever harm us if we are diligent followers of goodness:
“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?” ( 1 Peter 3:13).
Think no evil towards any man, and no evil from any one will prosper in your life in Jesus Name.
To have increasing spiritual knowledge, requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God:  “Train yourself to be godly” (1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
PRAYER: There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace to sow good seed even in difficult times in Jesus name. Amen!
Yours in the Vineyard of Christ. Bro Ben Bassey, Iyobosa, & the MOW family.

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to “seek first the kingdom of God  his righteousness”..Matt 6:33). We stress that: Righteousness exalts a person (Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from all forms of bondage, ignorance, disease and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus  Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1; Rev 19:13). We emphasise that Jesus  is the Truth (John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We avoid the dilution, misinterpretation or deliberate corruption of the words of God. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, aside from soul winning, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers with knowledge using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will be compelled to believe and exalt His  holy name (Psalm 46:10).
One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Indeed, “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Prov 11:9).
Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in Jesus Name. Amen. Websites: http//www.ministryoftheword.org; http//www.abasihealthfoundation.org
