Theme: The New Creature
Memory verse:”Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new Creature; old things are passed away; behold all things are become new”(2Cor 5 vs 17).
Beloved, when one is a new Creature, he does not need to focus on the things of old. Being a new Creature means that, you have to begin to work in the way of the Lord.
If a man be in Christ, he is therefore a born again Christian, He will no longer dwell in sin but rather be reconcile with God. The bible says in (2Cor 5 vs 18) “All things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation ”
If you acknowledge your sin and turn away from it completely and then begin to work in the way of the Lord, God will continue to guide your path and you Will be totally free from your sins. God is eager to reconcile His children to Himself: “That the house of Israel May go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD(Ezekiel 14:11).
Therefore brethren, we should therefore deviate from sin and sorrow unto repentance, Remember “For godly sorrow works th repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death (2Cor 7 : 10).
