Theme:  You may be Alone without Being Lonely!
Memory Verse:
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12)
Beloved,
We praise God in Christ for jealously navigating us into the last month in 2015, the month of December. This is the month  of praise , thanks giving and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
This season, the Almighty God in Christ Jesus wants us to move higher in our understanding of our divine nature.  Once you are truly born again (spiritual rebirth) in Christ Jesus as explained by Jesus Himself in the book of John 3:3-5, you become an inseparable part of the holy trinity, hence, you should never be lonely even when you are physically alone. When you are born of the water and of the Holy Spirit, you can not be separated from God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus says:
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5).  Yes, our memory verse says through empowerment , you are a son of God. Yes, joint heir with Christ.
Our Lord Jesus Christ, speaking through the gospel of Matthew commanded: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19). This is our great commission.
Through your faith in Christ Jesus, the baptism you received enabled you to have the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit dwell in you. So, if you have the understanding, you should never be lonely.
Every true believer, with the help of the Holy Spirit has as his best friend the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit . These three in one person should be the most important person in the life of every true Christian .  If such believer is married, his wife or her husband should be next in the level of intimacy. Then the children  follow.  Then extended family and outsiders such as friends or work colleagues or social colleagues.
The inability of many Christians to have intimacy with the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, has resulted in their running to others for instructions at the slightest challenge. One sad observation in the Church of God today is that many people who claimed to be Christians, prefer to take spiritual instructions from men instead of learning to hear from the Word of God (Jesus).
As a disciple of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and a minister of the good news gospel by His grace, I only take instructions from God. Those who are close to me will attest to the fact I regularly listen to messages from ‘powerful’ men and women of God, and I have benefited immensely from them, but believe me, I do not take instructions from them. Indeed, the Ministry of the Word(MOW) was not revealed to me by man, but by the Spirit of the living God in Christ Jesus. Thank you Jesus!
I am often amazed at the level of talkativeness and gossiping within the Church. Yet, if you ask the brother or sister to put into writing what he or she has been talking about for the previous  one hour, he or she finds it difficult to do so. The book of Proverbs says:
“In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise” (Proverbs 10:19).
I have learnt one thing from my entire life experiences. That I am never alone. That I may be alone but never lonely. That at every moment in time, I have the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to talk with. Do not spend all your time talking  unedifying things with people. If you want to talk, talk with God. Learn to talk with the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Learn to talk with Jesus Christ.  Learn to talk with the Holy Spirit.  That powerful man of God may fail you. He may give you wrong information or advice out of ignorance.  But God in Christ Jesus can never fail you. Put no confidence in the flesh ( Jeremiah 17:5). Respect man, but fear God only. The Preacher summarises it this way:
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man”(Ecclesiastes 12:13)
To grow spiritually increasingly requires daily meditation in the word of God, with total fear of God. Train yourself yourself to be godly…(Tim 4:7-8, NIV). Learn to meditate on the word of God day and night ( Joshua 1:8).
Prayer: There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace of constant fellowship with the triune God in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
