Beloved
Happy Easter in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ, 2014.
We praise God for the power of God that  resurrected Jesus Christ from the grave. To the unbelieving mind, it looks like a fairy tale or a myth.  The doubting mind may keep questioning the entire crucifixion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. He only lived for about 33 years on earth. His Ministry was only for  about 3 years. Yet, He changed the world EVENTS chronologically. Today, the only excellent way we can understand world events by chronology  is with reference to Christ- BC and AD.
We thank God He is alive to die no more. He says in the book of Revelation: “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Rev 1:18).
Even in the grave, death could not hold Him. He had prophesied of His resurrection in three days (John 2:19). It was indeed a supernatural power. Death could not defeat him in the grave, against all laws and expectations. The power around the events was so mighty that it caused a great earth quake and the veil of the temple was torn (Matt 27:51).
No wonder Brother Paul prayed to KNOW this power more and more. Hear his prayer:
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death”(Phil 3:10).
It was difficult to believe. It was difficult to imagine with the human brain/mind. One of his disciples (brother Thomas) felt it was a joke. Here him:”The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe (John 20:25).Though he later believed on seeing the nail marks, but Jesus told him:Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed (John 20:29).
There are many believers in the body of Christ today who fellowship quite regularly on Sundays, but there is no depth or substance in their faith. Having Jesus as our Lord and Saviour requires active faith and is accompanied by POWER. We thank God for the power that resurrected Jesus. This power has been made available to every true believe. The gospel is about the power of God in Christ working through ordinary men. The Word says: “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power(1Cor 4:20).The resurrected Jesus Christ living in our hearts is the basis for this power. He is the embodiment of this power and he has handed it to all true believers ( Luke 10:19). He gives what he has. He says:All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matt 28:18). The more we understand and make use of this power the more we understand what brother Paul meant when he said: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Phil 4:13).We are the branches. He is the vine. Without him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). His name is the Word of God (Rev 19:13).
We thank God for the events of Easter. It is well with you in Jesus name.
To have increasing spiritual knowledge, requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: ”Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
PRAYER: There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace to have increasing understanding of the power of the resurrected Christ within you in Jesus mighty name, Amen!
Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.  Ben Bassey, Iyobosa, & the MOW family.

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to “seek first the kingdom of God  his righteousness” Matt 6:33). Righteousness exalts(Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from bondage, and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus  Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1). Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers, using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will exalt his holy name (Psalm 46:10). One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in Jesus Name. Amen. Websites: http//www.ministryoftheword.org; http//www.abasihealthfoundation.org
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Col 1:16).
