March on from Glory to Glory!

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Theme: March on from Glory to Glory!

Memory Verse: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2Cor 3:18).

Beloved
Let me use this opportunity to welcome every reader of this message to the month of March in the year of our Lord, 2013.
March is the third month of the year. Three is symbolic of the power and unique holy relationship of our triune God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The relationship between God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit is extremely unique; it is based on unity, agreement, oneness and can never be fully comprehended by any human mind. I have listened to discussions where some people argue that Jesus is not God! Yet, the Scripture clearly tells us that: in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily(Col 2:9). Indeed, Brother Paul further tells us that: it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell (Col 1:19). Yet, out of humility, Jesus himself never consider himself equal to his Father (Phil 2:5-7), despite his being fully aware of his oneness with his Father. On one occasion he told one of his disciples (Philip): he that hath seen me hath seen the Father(John 14:9). However, he was quick to acknowledge his Father’s authority by explaining further: If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I (John 14:28).

Brethren, I have used the Scriptures to point out this supernatural relationship between Jesus and his Father, in order to clear every doubt. The true is that any one who has seen Jesus has seen God.
The bible describe Jesus as the first born Son of God. The bible enables us to know that God sowed Jesus for humanity, so that He would have many more sons. As revealed by Brother Paul: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:29). Indeed, verse 19 of same chapter tells us that the entire creation awaits our manifestation as sons: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19).
Why have I dwelled so much on the unique relationship between Jesus and His Father? It is because the more you know Jesus the more you know God. The more you understand Jesus, the more you understand God. Jesus is the embodiment of God. Jesus is the glory of God. Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:1; Rev 19:13). All things were made by him and for him: Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high (Heb 1:3).

Our memory verse says as we obediently focus on Jesus, we are transformed from glory to glory into his image. Meaning, we also become the brightness of God’s glory.
Heb 12: 2 says we should keep our focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. I pray that from now your eyes will never leave Jesus alone. No matter the challenges you are having, may your eyes never leave Jesus. Peter who walked on water began to sink when he shifted his focus from Jesus into the frightening storm (Matt 14:29-30).

Who is Jesus: Jesus is the embodiment of fullness of love, joy, peace, faith, goodness etc. Jesus is also the embodiment of fullness of truth, righteousness, holiness, honesty & transparency, compassion, the Way to true prosperity etc. Grace and truth came through Jesus (John 1:17), because he is full of grace and truth (verse 14). He is the Way, Truth and the Life (John 14:6).
The good news about Jesus is that He died for every one of us, even if you don’t believe. The bible says: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). So Jesus died for both the sinners and the saints.
Jesus is the only one who can baptized us with the Holy Spirit, as he is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit:  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17)
How do we behold Jesus? By talking to him in prayers, by reading his words, by seeking him, by reading about him, listening to messages about him, meditating on his word, obeying his words, hiding his words in your heart etc. Beloved, if you really want to know who  God is, you have no choice but to know Jesus. The more you seek/know Jesus, the more you know God. Without Jesus, our knowledge of God is completely shallow.
To win the war of life, very believer requires empowerment of the Holy Spirit . Sincerely ask Jesus to baptize you with his  holy Spirit today::But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). I have to add that the holy Spirit is better experienced than explained or taught. Before my holy Spirit baptism on the 10th February 2008, I had a very shallow understanding of what preachers of the gospel were talking about with regard to holy Spirit baptism. I thank God for grace!
There is a reader of this message, may your eyes never leave the Word of God alone  in Jesus precious name. Amen.
To have increasing spiritual knowledge, requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God: Train yourself to be godly(1Tim 4:7 NIV).

PRAYER: There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace of glorious transformation as you obediently focus on the words of God in Jesus name, Amen!

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to seek first the kingdom of God & his righteousness(Matt 6:33). Righteousness exalts(Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from bondage, and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus is the Truth(John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers, using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will exalt his holy name (Psalm 46:10). One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in Jesus Name. Amen. Websites: http//www.ministryoftheword.org; http//www.abasihealthfoundation.org
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Col 1:16).
