Being led by the Spirit!

Theme: Being led by the Spirit!

Memory Verse: But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law (Gal 5:18).

Beloved

You are welcome to the twelfth month in the year of our Lord, two thousand and twelve. We have entered the season of miracle, signs and wonders.

The Lord has spoken repeatedly to my spirit that he wants his children to come closer to him. He wants us to come up higher. He says: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matt 11:28).

Christianity without the leading of the Holy Spirit will grossly limit the believer, and make such believer very vulnerable. God leads every believer through his Holy Spirit and his words. The Holy Spirit is the greatest teacher a believer can ever have. The Holy Spirit guides every true believer. The Word says: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (Jn 16:13).

Our memory verse says every believer led by the Spirit is not under the law. This is because such believer has been empowered to become righteousness conscious and is under GRACE (Rom 6:14). As a believer, are you able to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit will only lead the sons of God: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Rom 8:14).

Aside from leading every true believer, the Holy Spirit also teaches such believer through his spirit. The Word says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (Jn 14:26).

If you are a true believer , and you have not yet got a university education, do not worry, because, you have every opportunity to enter the ”University of the Holy Spirit of God”. And you will qualify in Jesus name. Amen. However, humility and meekness, is a fundamental requirement for the teaching and leading of the Spirit. The Word says: The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way (Ps 25:9).

The Holy Spirit can only communicate with the spirit of the man, not with his soul (mind), not with his body. However, every true believer, needs to spend time with the Word of God, in order to nourish, sharpen, and lighten his spirit for the LORD to see through: The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly (Prove 20:27). The word of God is the only source of light to our spirit man. The Psalmist says: The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Ps 119:130). See also Psalm 119:105. Believe me, without the words of God in the spirit, such believer is religious, and will function at the level of an unbeliever, despite having accepted Jesus.

This is a clarion call to every believer. Please spend time with the Word of God. Light up your spirit man. God is eager to lead you by His Spirit. But the Spirit does not speak of his own, but what he hears from the Word (Jn 16:13). Indeed, the word of God is the sword of the Spirit (Eph 6:17). Without our spirit being rich in the word of God (Col 3:16), Christianity can be miserable, and the believer will be vulnerable.

If you have not yet been baptized in the Holy Spirit, called anointing, please ask for it. Every believer requires anointing. The Word says:But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

As a believer, if you are not hearing from the Holy Spirit, please, do all it takes to hear from him. God is eager to lead you on the path of righteousness NOW .

To have increasing spiritual knowledge, requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: ”Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

PRAYER: There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace to be led by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name, Amen!

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God:”let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another ”in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs”(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to ”seek first the kingdom of God & his righteousness”(Matt 6:33). ”Righteousness exalts”(Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from bondage, and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus is the Truth(John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers ”kings and priests unto God and his Father”(Rev 1:6). In addition, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers, using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will exalt his holy name (Psalm 46:10). One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge,(Isa 5:13). Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in Jesus Name. Amen. Websites: http//www.ministryoftheword.org; http//www.abasihealthfoundation.org
