THEME:DILIGENCE

MEMORY VERSE:
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Proverbs 22:29).

Diligence means showing care and effort in your work or duties. Diligence is very important; it is an active tool needed by a believer in order to be perfect.

According to Deuteronomy 28:14, diligence attracts blessings from the Lord. Diligence requires both physical and spiritual strength. you have to make yourself ready by spending more time with the Lord, and also listening to the word of God.

The entrance of His word giveth light and understanding to the simple (Psalm 119:130). Diligence makes a man run from sins. Diligence made Elisha to get more anointing than that of his master.

Diligence drives away laziness; yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hands to sleep: so shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man (Proverbs 24:33-34).

No wonder the word of God says, “God has chosen the foolish things of the word to confound the wise” (1Cor. 1:27).

Finally, Bro. Paul pleaded with the Lord to take away his weakness (2Cor. 12:18). He received the same response from  the Lord.

My grace is sufficient for thee… (2Cor. 12:9).

Prayer: We receive the grace to be diligent in all that we do to the glory of God in Jesus Name.
