For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
God’s grace empowers us to walk according to His will and His Word. His grace and the gift of salvation do not give us the authority to do whatever we want. Whenever the grace of God is absent, all kinds of boasting and pride of self-righteousness are definitely present!
Beloved, don’t be surprised to meet some Christians who may act like they are holier, superior, and more qualified or anointed than others. They have forgotten about the grace of God, the real reason they were qualified. Nothing in the Kingdom of God is ever about us! It’s all about Jesus and the things He has done. Stick with that truth and stay humble, beloved!

- Heavenly Father, thank You for Your saving grace in my life. There is nothing to boast in me, for everything in this new life is because of Jesus Christ. Thank You for reminding me that it is by Your grace and mercy alone that I am who I am and where I am today, and this is all because of Jesus Christ. Amen.
