The Word (52)-the Word is appealing for your RETURN
“Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning” (Joel 2:12).
Beloved
There is no situation or circumstance the Word of God can not help you through. All He wants from you is to sincerely return to Him with all your heart with ‘fasting’ and ‘weeping’ as per our memory verse.
As a psychiatrist, I have seen many people in severe mental distress because of what they have done in the past. Some people find it very difficult to come to terms with their past. They often live their present in the past. No matter your past, if you listen to the Word today and surrender all to Him, He will carry your burden and give you comfort and peace.
Jesus is appealing to every one with heavy burden:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…” ( Matthew 11:28-29)
He is knocking at the door of your heart (Revelation 3:20). Hope you will answer Him today.
PRAYER
Father, please, give me the grace to surrender all to you and sincerely return to you in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
