Text: Colossians 1:7–8
“As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ; Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.” Colossians 1:7–8
Faithfulness is a moral attribute of God. It is showing true and constant support or loyalty; it also involves keeping your promise. God is always faithful even when His children are unfaithful (2 Timothy 2:13).
God rewards His children who remain faithful to Him; He also praises them and uses them as examples to motivate others. Epaphras, in the opening scripture, was praised by Apostle Paul for His faithfulness to the ministry of Christ, and we can be sure that he was rewarded by God.
Dear beloved, our love for Christ and the brethren is demonstrated through our faithfulness to Him in all things, including offering, tithing, fellowship, serving, and winning souls. If we do them wholeheartedly unto God, there will be no end to our reward and promotion in His Kingdom (Matthew 25:21–23). Hallelujah! Be faithful!
