“And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:39 (KJV)
Jesus Christ preached about His second coming and likened it to the days of Noah. Noah was the preacher of righteousness in his days; he foretold the coming of the flood to warn the people against sin and corruption, but they did not listen (Genesis 6:13–22; Hebrews 11:7). He was able to save only his family: his wife, three sons, and their wives.
Beloved, Jesus said His coming will be just like in Noah’s days—people were eating, drinking, marrying, giving in marriage, etc. until the flood came. The usual activities of human life still go on till today. There are those who do not believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but that will not stop Jesus Christ from coming (2 Peter 3:3–4). He has given the signs of His coming and we must discern and prepare for His coming (Matthew 24).
Beloved, if we are involved in the promotion of the gospel, we will not miss His second coming. Dear beloved, get ready to meet the Lord. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

My dear Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for giving us the signs of Your second coming. I have made up my mind to take Your words seriously. Please lead and guide me to always promote the gospel and be ready for Your second coming. Amen!
