MIND OF GOD (MOG)
Text: Psalms 118:1
“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.” Psalms 118:1 (KJV)
The Most High is the creator of times and seasons. He created times and seasons for mankind to operate in (Genesis 1:14–16). We are in a New Year, and we need to acknowledge Him for bringing us into the New Year. It is by His mercy that we have been given the opportunity to witness the New Year. Therefore, we have every reason to celebrate Him in songs, dance, and instruments of praise. Thank Him for your life, family, church, community, and the nation as a whole.
Beloved, God is good, and the virtue of His goodness is one thing that He will not sacrifice for anything (Psalms 100:5). He always demonstrates His goodness to His creation, especially mankind. Make time to take inventory of your life from birth to your current age and you will find a reason to give Him thanks. When you always give Him thanks, you create a cheerful atmosphere for yourself and those around you, which brings blessings to you. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
