Topic: Have You Missed the Way? – by Pastor Raphael

Text: 2 John 1:4

“I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.” 2 John 1:4 (KJV)

It is said that a wise son makes his father glad (Proverbs 15:20).

Thus it is not surprising for Apostle John to rejoice greatly when finding out that his converts were walking in the truth. Walking in the truth is taking God’s Word seriously and doing what it says. The difference between a prosperous Christian and a unprosperous Christian is being a doer of God’s Word (James 1:22–25).

There are lots of Christians who just hear or read the Holy Scriptures but don’t submit to them. Those who diligently do what the Holy Scriptures say find peace, joy, and prosperity in their lives.

Dear beloved, be conscious to be a doer of the Word of God and not just a mere hearer, and God will commend and bless you. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Be an overcomer!

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for making your truth available to me. I have purpose in my heart to be a doer of your Word. Please continually give me the grace to do your Word in Jesus’ name. Amen!

I have the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, meekness, temperance, and faith. Galatians5:22

Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. Psalms 105:4

Revelation 4
