Topic: He Is Capable of Carrying Them! – by Pastor Raphael Text: Psalms 55:22

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Psalms 55:22 (KJV)

Knowing where to lay your burden is the beginning of your freedom. The burden of humanity is both spiritual and physical. Spiritually, sin is a burden, and the one who forgives sin is God. He forgives you of the inherent sin of Adam and Eve when you believe in and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior. Subsequently, all other sins are forgiven when you ask Him to forgive you (1 John 1:9).

The physical burden comprises all the needs and wants in your life, such as food, clothing, shelter, job, marriage, money, etc. God is the one who supplies the solutions to our physical needs (Philippians 4:19). No wonder He said we should cast our burdens on Him and He shall sustain us. Dear beloved, never carry your burdens; cast them instead on God in prayer because He has said if we asked anything in His name, He will do it (John 14:13).

If you are a child of God, then you are righteous and qualify to cast your burden on Him. Simply do it and stop worrying, as if you can do it all by yourself. The opening scripture is a command followed by a promise; therefore, express your simple obedience in faith, and He will do His part to make you free from all your struggles in life. Hallelujah! He is able!

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for enlightening me today in your Word. I cast all my burdens, including pain, lack, trouble, and sickness, on you, in Jesus’ name. Thank you for making me free. Amen!

Dear Lord, I choose to trust You and Your goodness knowing that You are faithful in everything in Jesus name 1Kings 18:43

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1
