*MIND OF GOD (MOG)*

Text: Psalm 91:3–4

“Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” Psalm 91:3–4 (KJV)

Knowing that God cannot fail makes us secure in Him. The only person who has never failed before is God. Thus when you walk with Him, you are guaranteed successes in Him. Just as God doesn’t fail neither do His promises (2 Corinthians 1:20).

As long as you fulfill the condition of the particular promise you have faith for, He is obliged to reward your faith. The opening scripture buttresses the point that the promises of God cannot fail if we fulfill the conditions therein. The word “surely” in the opening scripture clearly shows that He is eagerly looking on His Word to bring it to pass in our lives (Jeremiah 1:12).

Thus if we can only abide in the secret place of His name and His Word and observe to walk in His ways, He will deliver us from danger and traps of the enemy, and He will protect us and provide for us. Sometimes His promises delay, and in such cases, we should bear in mind that God is preparing us to receive and to develop patience for our next level of growth in Him. If indeed we want to mature into the full stature of Christ Jesus, then we need to have patience with God and allow Him to have His way in us. then there will be no blessing He cannot give us. Dear heavenly Father, thank you for all the promises you have for me in your Word. Please give me a heart of patience to always wait till all your promises are fulfilled in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
