*MIND OF GOD (MOG)*
Text: Mark 1:16-17
“Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.” Mark 1:16–17 (KJV)
Jesus Christ is the good shepherd. He knows what is good for His sheep, and He will always give good gifts to His children (John 10:11). Christians are the sheep of our Lord Jesus Christ.
When He met Simon and Andrew, they were doing what their profession demanded from them. Through their profession, they were able to feed, clothe, and shelter their families. However, Jesus Christ had something better for them: He called them to be partakers of the Kingdom of God and to win souls to fill the Kingdom of God.
Dear beloved, you might have a profession of your own, but always remember that Jesus Christ has something better for you than a mere profession. He wants to use you to win souls to fill the Kingdom of God. Therefore, get involved in the teaching and preaching of the gospel (Mark 16:15–18). Telling somebody that Jesus loves you and sharing the love of Christ with such a person is a good place to begin. May you avail yourself for Jesus Christ to use you. Hallelujah! God Bless You!
