*MIND OF GOD (MOG)*
Text: 1 Samuel 3:7
“Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him.” 1 Samuel 3:7
There are levels of growth in the Kingdom of God. When a person becomes born again, they start off as a babe in Christ. As a babe in Christ, God expects you to grow gradually into maturity (1 Peter 2:2–3).
This growth depends on how you respond to the Word of God and exercise it by faith. Samuel was serving the LORD faithfully, but he didn’t know Him nor was the Word of God revealed to Him. It is the revelation of God’s Word that causes us to grow from glory to glory.
The more you meditate on God’s Word, the more He reveals Himself to you.
Dear beloved, don’t just be a babe in Christ all the days of your life and complain. Strive to grow to maturity, and get to know the Lord through His Word. Make it your goal to study the entire books of the Holy Bible so that you know God, and He will reveal more of Himself to you. Knowing Him is a journey, and when you become mature in Him, you will stop complaining; you will always be giving Him thanks, and He will take you to places that will blow your mind. Hallelujah!
