*MIND OF GOD (MOG)*
*Text*: Psalms 8:3-5
“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.” Psalms 8:3-5 (KJV)
Glory is defined as magnificence or great beauty. One of the beautiful things to behold is the creation of God. The psalmist looked toward heaven and appreciated the handiwork of God: the moon, the stars, the clouds, and the sun (Psalm 8:3). All these were created for mankind to enjoy. He has put His glory in man to have dominion over the earth.
Dear beloved, believe that you are special and that the glory of God is in you because He created you in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26–27). He also sent the Holy Spirit, Who is the glory of God, to live in you and direct you. Appreciate what God has done for you and always give Him thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18). When you stop complaining and turn your complaints into thanksgiving, He will pay attention to your needs, and you will become a channel of blessings. Hallelujah! Live gloriously!
My eternal Father, thank You for enlightening me that Your glory is upon me and in me. I’m very grateful and will always praise You for this knowledge. Please lead me to take advantage of this glory, to do greater works for You and be a blessing to posterity in Jesus’ name. Amen!
