“Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.” Joshua 24:14 (KJV)
God is a God of relationship. Even though He is God, He wants to always fellowship and socialize with His children. For the relationship between God and us to be healthy, there is a standard we have to meet. He expects us to fear Him, serve Him, and put away every foreign god (Exodus 20:1–6). If we are able to do these things, He feels happy to be our Father and does what we ask Him to do for us.
Dear beloved, fear God, serve him in sincerity and truth, put away all strange gods, and you will see the hand of God at work in your life. You will enjoy your relationship with Him, and your life will be a testimony. To always win, remember that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Keep loving God!

My dear heavenly Father and my love, thank You for sharing Your intimacy with me from Your Word. Indeed, fearing You, serving You in sincerity and truth, and putting away all foreign gods is the only way to make You happy. I gladly do this for You so that You can continually share Your intimacy with me and help me to always win in Jesus’ name. Amen!
