Ministry of the Word (MOW):
True Spirituality (TS).
Improving our Spiritual Understanding.
What Do You Fear Most in Life?
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” ( Prov 9:10).
The Lord says you should launch into the deep. Avoid shallow waters henceforth. Fear, just like sin, has the capacity to keep many people at the same level. What do you fear most in life? Do you fear God? Do you fear man? Do you fear things around you? The word of God says, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. What you fear is very important. Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear has to do with disobedience to the word of God. The righteous is as bold as a lion ( Prov 28:1).
The word of God says:
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Tim 1:7).
According to the scripture, the true love of God has no fear:
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18).
Whatever your circumstances may be, the LORD says: “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25).
To be fruitful in the kingdom, in your thoughts and actions, you have to learn to : “Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught” (Luk 5:4).
Fear often prevent many true believers from taking the necessary steps required for their fruitfulness.
Our Father himself is very much aware of this, hence He commands us to Fear Not (Gen 15:1), in up to 365 times in the bible. God is very much aware that we are victims of our fears. The only one the LORD wants us to fear, is Himself, which according to Him, is the beginning of wisdom (Ps 111:10; Prov 9:10).
During the call of Joshua, God assured him: There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee (Josh 1:5).
But when God saw Joshua”s fears, He commanded him: Be strong and of a good courage (Josh 1:6-7). Yet, Joshua was still fearful. Hence, God became rather angry with him: Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest (Josh 1:9).
In the army of Gideon, I understand a mere announcement that if any one is fearful, he should stay back, led to 22,000 men out of 32, 000 dropping out: “Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand” (Judges 7:3).
Brethren, believe me, fear is real in true spirituality warfare. A winner only emerges after a fight. We are at war. It is a war between light and darkness. It is a war between good and evil. It is war between gratitude and ingratitude. It is a war between sincerity and insincerity. We need knowledge and wisdom (correct application of knowledge), to enjoy victory. We need not be afraid once we abide in him (John 15:7). We are not fighting on our own strength (Zech 4:6).
God in Christ is our senior partner. He is the invisible worker. In true spirituality warfare, you need Esther’s mindset of ” if I perish I perish” (Esther 4:16),to fully claim your lost glory.
Receive the spirit of fearlessness in Jesus name. You will recover everything you have lost.
Prayer: Standing on the authority and integrity of the word of God, I curse and rebuke every spirit of fear in every true believer in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to “seek first the kingdom of God his righteousness”..Matt 6:33). We stress that: Righteousness exalts a person (Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from all forms of bondage, ignorance, disease and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1; Rev 19:13). We emphasise that Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We avoid the dilution, misinterpretation or deliberate corruption of the words of God. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, aside from soul winning, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers with knowledge using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will be compelled to believe and exalt His holy name (Psalm 46:10).
One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Indeed, “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Prov 11:9). We are established by the righteousness in the word of God (Isa 54:14).
Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in Jesus Name.
