Dearly Beloved
One of the true tests of our godliness and holiness is our reactions to insult or distress? How do you commonly react to insult? You may be a ‘ popular ‘ man or woman of God or a mature Christian, but like apostle Paul, do you DELIGHT in insult and distress? Please, ponder on it as I also do. I have seen many angry Christians in the church. It’s unbelievable, the words they speak when in distress, completely ignorance of Numbers 14:28
It is not good for the soul to be without knowledge. Christianity is about knowledge.
“Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth” (Proverbs 19:2).
Ask God to grant you knowledge and understanding as you read the bible. Do not destroy your:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” (Hosea 4:6).
The saved soul without knowledge is very vulnerable.
Be knowledgeable.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
