True Spirituality Therapy (TST)
Memory Verse :
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” ( Luke 10:19).
Beloved
You may not appreciate this, in Christ Jesus, God has given us so much powers. Certain challenges will arise in the life of Christian just to build up and strengthen the fellow. Lack of spiritual understanding is indeed a major issue in the church. If you carry the power of God in Christ Jesus, you cannot run from witches and wizards or demonic forces. There is no power comparable to power of the true God in Christ Jesus. Indeed, power passes power!
The empowerment is for the promotion of the word of God (witnessing Christ) and for the destruction of the works of the devil. To win the war of life, every believer requires empowerment of the Holy Spirit:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
Whether you believe me or not, life is a battle. Everyone fights the various battles of life, whether you believe in God or not. As spiritual Christians, let us go about our duties with the consciousness of the fact that we are at war at all times-at our places of work, in our families, in our ministries, within our communities, in the church etc. We must also be conscious of the fact the war we are called to fight is spiritual, not physical. “For we wrestles not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12).
The weapons of our warfare are the words of our mouth! Jesus has given us “a mouth and wisdom…” ( Luke 21:15). We are admonished to make effective use of our mouth in order to fight a good warfare. Make use of the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Apostle Paul admonished his spiritual son, Timothy:
“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare” (1Tim 1:18)
We praise God in Christ for bringing us to the last but one day in the month of perfection, in the year of perfection.
“through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Proverbs 11:9).
To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
PRAYERS:
There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace to make use of the power in the word of God in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Father, we pray that righteousness be established in your church; let the FIRE of Holy Ghost be rekindled in our different nations all over the world in Jesus precious name. Amen.
Father, please continue to expose every act of hypocrisy, pretence and evil in our societies and bring the perpetrators to shame in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
