Beloved
Together, let’s pray the prayer that the grace of God has thought us to pray. A powerful prayer indeed:
“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Matthew 6:9-13 KJV.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient for you.
God is able to make all grace abound towards you…(2Corinthians 9:8).
To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you very much for teaching us how to pray. We receive the grace to pray the Lord’s Prayer in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
