Memory Verse
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:18-19).
Dearly Beloved
We welcome everyone of you to the last week in the month of February 2020, in name of JESUS. You are blessed in Jesus name. Amen.
It’s good to always have the consciousness that the church of our Lord Jesus Christ is not the building, though the building is important.
When the Lord who is the head of the church, first used the word church, it was with reference to the person of Peter, the rock. The true church of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the assembly of true believers , the righteous assembly of Mount Zion.
Every true born again Christian is part and parcel of the church at every point in time. This understanding and consciousness are important to ensure that a Christian is not a Christian only on Sundays. Many a times, you hear people say: ‘I am going to the church’, in reference to attending church fellowship or service, usually on Sundays.
As a part of the church of Christ by His grace , in reality you cannot ‘go to yourself’. The church as a whole is the body of Christ and you are a tiny part of that body:
“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular” (1Corinthians 12:27).
As a part of the church, you are given enormous power to bind and loose. Power to allow what you want and disallow what you don’t want. Make use of your mouth. Death and life are in the power of the tongue…(Proverbs 18:21).
To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
Stay connected to Jesus; the way, the truth and the life. Amen.
The word of God is the true spiritual health therapy. True Spiritual Therapy (TST) indeed. You don’t need to continue searching because you will never find anything else better than the word of God. You are a son of the living God by grace (John 1:11-12). What more do you need?

Prayer Point
Father, thank you for making me a part of your church and for giving me so much power. Please, give me the wisdom and understanding to know what to do with my mouth in Jesus name. Amen.
