Beloved
The gospel of the cross may appear simplistic but it is the power of God to those who believe. Please, never be ashamed of the word of God. The word of God is light, health, and wealth.
I understand there are Christians who are ashamed of holding the Bible about. Thank God these days the word of God is available in many electronic devices. Are you ashamed of the word of God? The word of God is the power of God. The word of God is the sword of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). You need him daily to be victorious in life.
Unfortunately, some Christians only pay attention to the word of God on Sundays when they ‘go to church’. You have to show desperation and passion for the word of God. Many Christians will tell you they don’t have work, when there is so much work to be done in the kingdom of God. Are you a worker in the kingdom of God? You can choose one area to excel and be a blessing to others. How can you be a follower of Jesus Christ and you say you have no work to do? Hear the Lord Himself:
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” (John 9:4).
Recently, I was reading about a Prophet based in South Africa who has ‘Anointed ATM cards ‘ with his image on it for members to pay tithes & offerings with. I also saw images of anointed soap to wash with after you have ‘sinned’ the whole day. I don’t know how all these work , but believe me, without spiritual knowledge and understanding , a Christian is walking in darkness, despite having accepted Christ.
Many people of God are destroyed because they lack knowledge ( Hosea 4:6).
Remaining in darkness will never be your portion in Jesus name. Amen.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
