“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” ( Hebrews 4:12).
Beloved
The word of Jesus is the word of God. Let the word of Christ dwell in your heart richly. The Word of God is God.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).
Brethren the word of God is power. Speak the word only and you will be amazed what God will do through you. Many believers are unable to speak the word of God daily primarily because their hearts have not be filled with the word of God. Remember, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks ( Matthew 12:34).
Spend time to FILL your heart and spirit man with the word of Jesus , so that the Word will flow out spontaneously when challenged with sickness, disease , anger, hatred, impatience, frustration, hypocrisy, insincerity, pretence, manipulators etc . Everything on earth and in heaven bows to the Word.
Apostle Paul said:
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Col 3:16).
The Centurion answered:
“but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed” (Matthew 8:8).
Only the Word can heal our thoughts and hearts!
Henceforth, speak the word only!
To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
Prayer
Father, please give us the grace to speak your word only in JESUS in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
