Beloved
The grave could not hold Jesus captive. The grave could not contain Him. He was in full control of things. It was all for the glory of the Father. Even in the grave Jesus is Lord. He holds the key to life and death . He assured the Father:
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do” (John 17:4).
We bless God for the glorious event of this season. The grave was too small for Him. Jesus is alive even in the grave:
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelations 1:18).
