Word for Today: Rejoicing when challenged?

Word for Today:
Rejoicing when challenged?

Ministry of the Word(MOW) : True Spirituality(TS).

Memory Verse

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” ( James 1:2-4).

Beloved
Yes, all things work together for good to them that love God.

Praising God when faced with challenges is one subject that many believers have really struggled with. How do you rejoice when you are experiencing a major challenge or trauma eg the loss of a loved one? Yet, that is exactly what St James is asking us to do as believers . Believe me, this will be difficult with man; only the Holy Spirit dwelling in a man can accomplish this.

Remember Joseph in prison for crime he did not commit. Remember Daniel being thrown into the lion den following false accusations. Did you expect them to rejoice? You will notice that both joy and long suffering are together as fruit of the Spirit: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” ( Galatians 5:22-23).

Learning to rejoice and praise God in the middle of problem is a life secret that many believers need to learn . Remember when king Jehoshaphat of Judah was to be attacked by three nations . How he appointed praise singers to praise God and all his enemies turned against themselves (2Chronicles 20:21-23).

This explains why apostle Paul standing on the word of God, assured us:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” ( Romans 8:28).

There is no problems that you are having now that others have not passed through.

Have you praised God in Christ Jesus this morning?

Have a Spirit- filled new day.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Jesus for waking us up this morning.

Prayer Point
Father, please give us the grace to praise you no matter what we are passing through in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
