Dearly Beloved
Many people are going about with earthly wisdom and are mistaking it for the wisdom of God. We praise the Lord for the revelations that come with the increasing knowledge of his word. We know from the scriptures that Jesus Christ, the Word of God, is the power of God and the wisdom of God (1Corinthian 1:24).
The word of God enables us to understand that there are two types of wisdom: the wisdom of God and the wisdom of man. In other words, the heavenly wisdom and the earthly wisdom. Our memory verse describes the qualities of the heavenly wisdom, referring to it as wisdom from ABOVE. According to the scriptures, the things of God can only be comprehended by the Spirit of God and the things of man by the spirit of man. The Word says: “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God” (1Corinthians 2:11).
The Holy Spirit of God is the embodiment of the wisdom of God (Isaiah 11:2). As true believers, once we have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, we have direct access to the wisdom of God. However, to remain CONNECTED to the wisdom of God, we have to remain connected to God through His words. This is because the word of God and the Holy Spirit of God are inseparable. Jesus said: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). As true believers, the more we are enriched with the word of God, and obediently yield to him, the more we enjoy the indwelling and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Brethren, the word of God describes wisdom from above as the PRINCIPAL THING in life (Proverbs 4:7).
Brother James describes the earthly wisdom as mixed, in the sense that it is cunning, seductive, it appears smart, but devilish: This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish (James 3:15).
Many a times, I do wonder how many believers are conscious of mixing the heavenly wisdom with the earthly wisdom! Believe me, it is very common to mix it up, even within the body of Christ(the church).
Meditating on the word of God day and night (Joshua 1:8), will bring out the desired transformation by renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). The wisdom of God is hidden in mystery, which only the Word can reveal: “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory”(1Corinthians 2:7). Wisdom from above is very pure and very sincere. Beloved, the wisdom of this world is foolishness and profit nothing:”For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness” (1Corinthians 3:19).
Please, get hungry and thirsty for the word of God, the wisdom of God and the Holy Spirit.
Be bold and courageous. Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God in 2018. Be wise. Be enlightened.
Become a DISCIPLE , AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ as you go about your duties. Keep your focus on righteousness.
Keep your thoughts & mind positive, healthy and pure. Be prayerful always and be appreciative of what God is doing in your life.
Ensure you think no evil against anyone.
Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
Be compassionate and kind to one another.
Thank you JESUS for giving us wisdom from above.

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that they may experience heavenly wisdom in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
