Improving Our Spiritual Understanding
Theme: The Unlimited God!
Memory Verse:
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”(Jeremiah 32:27).
Beloved
Every true believer should be exceedingly joyful that we are serving an unlimited God in Christ Jesus.
There is absolutely nothing our God can not do. Yes, “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37).
Although Satan has power, but he is limited. Man may tell you he has got power, especially if he is a president of a powerful nation, but believe me he is very limited . Remember Jesus words to Pilate when the latter boasted that he had power to either crucify or release Jesus: “Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above” (John 19:11). Nothing happens to a true child of God unless our Father allows it.
In Christ Jesus, God is not limited in power. God is not limited in integrity. God is not limited in faith. God is not limited in salvation. D I God is not limited in knowledge. God is not limited in wisdom. God is not limited in understanding. God is not limited in thoughts. God is not limited in goodness. God is not limited in purity, righteousness, holiness, peace, love etc. Thus, if a believer is truly CONNECTED to God in Christ, he shares God’s unlimitedness to the extent of his connectivity with Him. This is why Jesus Himself said: “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).
By the virtue of my work as a psychiatrist, a spiritual health counsellor, and a counsellor within the Body of Christ, I am opportune to interact with different groups of people on a daily basis. One thing that often amazes me is the limitedness of man. Man is very self-limiting in thoughts and power. Man is limited in knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Even in the church( the body of Christ), many are ignorant of the fact that no one can rise beyond the level of their thoughts and imaginations. Our beliefs and faith are basically the products of our thoughts and imaginations. The book of Proverbs reveal to us that we are the sum total of our thoughts: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7).
You can renew and transform your mind ( Romans 12:2), and your life by changing your core thoughts pattern and realigning it with the mind of Christ, which is the Word of God.
True believers who are unable to come to this understanding will often find themselves functioning at the level of unbelievers, despite having accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Let us ask God for grace to align our limited thoughts with His unlimited thoughts. Hear what God says about His thoughts: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”(Isaiah 55:8-9).
A true co-workers with God should not be lacking in anything. Ignorance is the main reason why many children of God are suffering today( Hosea 4:6). God is unlimited in wealth. The Psalmist tells us:
“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1). How can your Heavenly Father be the possessor of heaven and earth and His children are lacking? Knowing and understanding this truth will set you free indeed.
It shall be well with you this second half of 2015 in Jesus precious name. Amen.
To grow spiritually increasingly requires daily meditation in the word of God (Joshua 1:8), with total fear of God. Train yourself yourself to be godly…(Tim 4:7-8, NIV)
Prayer: There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace to SEE yourself as a co-worker with God and to tap into his unlimitedness in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

You are now spiritually regenerated and “born again” in Christ Jesus. We would encourage you to join any Word based Church of your choice. Please, be prayerful in choosing one. In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to “seek first the kingdom of God his righteousness”..Matt 6:33).
We stress that: Righteousness exalts a person (Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from all forms of bondage, ignorance, disease and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1; Rev 19:13). We emphasise that Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We avoid the dilution, misinterpretation or deliberate corruption of the words of God. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, aside from soul winning, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers with knowledge using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will be compelled to believe and exalt His holy name (Psalm 46:10).
One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Indeed, “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Prov 11:9). We are established by the righteousness in the word of God (Isa 54:14).
Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health.
