For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 KJV
Teachings and preachings that solidly come from God’s Word, pointing every heart and mind to the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, which brings true repentance, are what make a doctrine sound! The more Jesus Christ is revealed in our hearts, the more we are compelled to live like Him—forgiving, holy, pure, loving, kind, patient, compassionate, and passionate to do the Father’s will!
Beloved, because of today’s greater temptations and offers from the world, some believers are starting to drift away from the foundation of faith, and they are choosing Christian teachings that suit their lifestyles and worldly dreams. The more people drift from the truths of Christ Jesus and His words, the sooner the itching ears develop! Stay rooted and grounded in Christ Jesus and His word, beloved! And keep your First Love burning (Revelation 2:4) to stay on the right track!

*PRAYER POINT*
Heavenly Father, thank You for leading me to sound doctrines and preachings. You give me discernment and wisdom through the Holy Spirit. I pray for those who are drifting away from Your truth to come into repentance and be revived in their First Love in Jesus’ name. Amen!
