Text: Ephesians 4:28
“Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.” Ephesians 4:28
Being conscious of your divine nature keeps you from evil. You become the righteousness of God when you are born again (2 Corinthians 5:21). It is expected that the inward transformation will reflect on the outside through Christlike behavior. Stealing isn’t part of the new nature of the Christian, because he or she is now a new creation of God (2 Corinthians 5:17).
They now have divine grace to work with their hands or gifts so that they can be a blessing to someone else. It is better to give and be a blessing than steal or do anything criminal, thereby attracting a curse and becoming a nuisance to society.
Dear beloved, meditate on your new nature of righteousness, peace, holiness, love, and joy, and you will become useful to God and society. Hallelujah!
