“Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the Lord my God.” Joshua 14:8 (KJV)
The Word of God has the ability to produce what it talks about. When Moses was leading the children of God to the Promised Land, he chose twelve spies to go see the land so that they could report to him what they had seen. They came back with good news, but ten of the spies added that the land could not be taken because of the giants there; they went further to say that they were like grasshoppers (Numbers 13:31–33).
Beloved, the negative report from the ten spies made the heart of the people melt, but Joshua and Caleb calmed the people. They said if God had given them the land, then He will give them the ability to defeat and drive off the giants (Jeremiah 32:27). The two followed the Word of God, and God commended them. Dear beloved, don’t listen to those whose words cause fear in your heart. Follow the Word of God wholeheartedly, and God will commend you and bring His promise to pass in your life. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

My wonderful Father, thank You for inspiring me to follow Your voice and disregard any other voice. I put Your Word to work immediately by following Your voice in order to enjoy Your promises in Jesus’ name. Amen!
