*MIND OF GOD (MOG)*
Text: Isaiah 40:22
“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:” Isaiah 40:22 (KJV)
Knowing that God is great is the beginning of showing reverence and submitting to Him. Beloved, God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must do so in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). As children of God, we should know who our heavenly Father is, and give Him the glory due His name (Psalms 29:2).
The opening scripture reveals the nature of our God. He sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants are like grasshoppers—this depicts the greatness of our God. He also stretches out the heavens as a curtain and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in. This is awesome. Beloved, this should make us confident that we have a living God, Who can do the impossible things in our lives (Matthew 19:26).
Spend time and meditate on the opening scripture, and God will reveal Himself to you in a unique way to give you all the confidence you need to serve Him. Indeed, we are serving a living and great God. Beloved, your challenges are too small for such a great God to handle, so be encouraged and always give Him praise (Psalms 150:6). Hallelujah! Glory to the Highest!
My Father and my God, I’m amazed at Your greatness. Indeed, You are a great God that I can trust and depend on. My challenges, difficulties, weaknesses, etc. are too small for You to handle. Please give me more grace and wisdom to overcome them in order to share testimonies for people to know that, indeed, my God is great. Amen!
