Text: Jeremiah 33:25-26
“Thus saith the Lord; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.” Jeremiah 33:25-26 (KJV)
Sometimes the children of God go through tests, trials, and temptations. In the midst of these, you could be deceived by the enemy into thinking that God has forsaken you. Dear beloved, don’t allow yourself to be deceived; hold unto the Word of God and encourage yourself (Matthew 24:4). As surely as there is day and night, heaven and earth, God will come to your aid.
Beloved, God has a covenant with you; this covenant is in the blood of Jesus Christ, and you are sealed by His Spirit (Matthew 26:27–28). Don’t throw in the towel yet because God cannot forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep trusting in His Word. Keep declaring it and keep thanking Him; He will shower you with His mercy and come to your aid. He will put a testimony in your mouth to testify of His goodness. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

My dear heavenly Father, I bless and praise You for Your timely Word. Indeed, I’m not forsaken because You have a covenant with me. I hold on to my faith and Your promises, and I keep declaring them and thanking You till they are fulfilled in Jesus’ name. Amen!
