Memory Verses:
“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God .(Matthew 4:4)
Beloved
We bless the Almighty God for giving us freedom indeed. This is our month of complete  blessings and total freedom.
The word of God enables us to know that Jesus Christ, the embodiment of the Holy Spirit, is the only ONE who can make us free indeed. Anyone who imagines that he can be completely free without Jesus Christ, is merely day dreaming.  He declared to us: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”(John 8:36).
Freedom from what, you may ask? Freedom from all semblance of yokes bondages and limitations. Freedom from all manners of illnesses and diseases. Sickness is an agent of death. I have said it many times in my previous writings and I am repeating it here that many people (both believers and non believers) are in bondage but unfortunately, they do not know it.
In my last message, I made reference to different kinds of yokes, including the yoke of “talkativeness”.  I had one respondent who wanted to know more about the bondage or yolk of talkativeness. I remember explaining to him that the Bible says:
“In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise” (Proverbs 10:19). In other words, when you meet someone given to talking non stop, you need to be careful if you wanted to befriend the fellow. The Word says sin is never lacking with such a fellow. In Christ Jesus, at all times, God expects us to be still (silent), before Him (Psalm 46:10).
Some people start talking even before they think. Many people when talking will make references to what they have heard or read from television, radio, news papers, magazines, journals, news  letters, books or what other people have said.  You judge for yourself, how edifying is an average information that you often  hear or listen to? As for television, what you often find these days are stories about violence and aggression.
Beloved, believe you me, the source of your information is very important. That statement that you have heard or are about to make, where is it written?  Where are you quoting it from?  As per our memory verse, when Jesus was tempted by our common enemy (the devil), the only weapon He used to defeat him was: “it is written ” ( Matthew 4:1-10). Though He was the Word of God, He constantly quoted from the word of God in His heart through the help of the Holy Spirit, not from letters, because “the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life” (2Cor 3:6).
I have met many children of God who believe that speaking the word of God from their heart is very difficult. You might say they do not have faith. The truth is that they have not spent sufficient time with the word of God. The Psalmist said: “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” ( Psalm 119:11). Many believers behave as if they have satisfied all righteousness, once they “go to Church” on Sundays. What we VALUE, we spend time with. How much time do you spend with the word of God daily. When our Lord and Master was tempted, He spoke “it is written ” from His heart. When temptation comes, believe me, you may not have enough time to even recall you have a paper bible, let alone open it. It is what is in your heart that you will speak out:
“for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” ( Matthew 12:34).
Many believers often wonder why some challenges keep tormenting them. What such believers need is increasing spiritual understanding. Jesus Christ has granted us all powers from His Father ( Luke 10:19).
One of the greatest weapon s a believe has against the devil and his cohorts is: “It is written “. Do everything possible to have this weapon. Do everything possible to hide the word of God in your heart. The word of God is “the sword of the Spirit”(Ephesians 6:17). Only the Word of God can make us free indeed.
If you really want to be free indeed, stay with the word of God. There is so much fire in the word of God that demons and his cohorts cannot withstand. God Himself is the consuming fire( Hebrews 12:29).
To grow spiritually increasingly requires daily meditation in the word of God, with total fear of God. Train yourself yourself to be godly…(1Tim 4:7-8, NIV). Learn to meditate on the word of God day and night ( Joshua 1:8). The word of God is fire( Jeremiah 23:29).
Prayer: There is someone reading this message , receive the grace to learn to hide the word of God in your heart in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
