Welcome to a new week and a new month. The month of February, being the second month, is symbolic of the number of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the Trinity. There is no doubt that the POWER of God in Christ Jesus is going to be manifested mightily this month, the world over. Those of us from Nigeria in particular, and the entire world in general, are pleasantly looking forward to a free, fair and just presidential election with a NEW president being elected this month. His mercy, grace and the power of God in the blood of Jesus will achieve this for us in Jesus name. Amen.
Beloved, our God is perfectly good. He is always faithful. He is a God of signs and wonders. He is Omniscience. He will always do much more than you expected. He deserves to be praised continually. Father we bless your holy name. Daddy we bless your holy name. We magnify your Word on earth. We thank you for a new day. We thank you for a new week. We thank you for a new month. We glorify your holy name. Please sing this song with me: We give you glory Lord, as we honour you (twice); you are wonderful, you are worthy O’ Lord, you are wonderful, you are worthy O’ Lord. Beloved, this week, the Lord is asking us a significant life question. Whose voice are you following? Who is leading you in life. I have heard some ministers of God, explain that there are three voices we can hear in the world at any given time: the voice of God, the voice of the devil and one own voice. In my view, they often left out the fourth voice, that is, the voice of others. Thus, broadly speaking, at any given point in time, we are exposed to FOUR voices: the voice of God, the voice of the devil, our own voice and the voices of others(could be your friends, brothers, sisters, strangers etc). My focus in this message, will be recognizing the voice of God in Christ Jesus and hearing from God. The big question is: How can we differentiate these voices? Jesus Christ, speaking in the memory verse says: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Brethren, believe me, in Christ Jesus, God is constantly speaking to us, but we may not discern His voice without spiritual regeneration and ‘spiritual connection’ with the Him. Apostle Paul tells us that: “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1Cor 2:14).
God often speaks to us through his Holy Spirit. He can use any medium to speak to you. Jesus speaking as recorded by John explained: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13). A very key requirement to hearing from the Holy Spirit is being in agreement with the truth. How much do you ESTEEM, VALUE and HONOUR the truth? To what extent can you defend the truth? Jesus says: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). I am often amazed, at how easy it is for “children of God” to lie within the body of Christ (the Church). This may explain why many children of God are having difficulty hearing from God. Jesus Christ, while responding to Pilate’s questions, said: “Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice” (John 18:37c). We also know from the scripture that the word of God is truth, that sanctifies us: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17).
If you are finding it difficult to know the voice of God in Christ Jesus, EXAMINE yourself. You may need to restitute your life in the areas of righteousness, holiness, purity, total obedience to God’s word etc. God can only speak to your spirit, but you need to be in unity and agreement with Him to discern His voice. Do not give the devil any opportunity to prosper in your life. There is nobody the devil does not visit. When the devil visited Jesus, he defeated the devil with: “It is written” (Matt 4:1-10). Jesus Himself says: “for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14:30b).
Many children of God follow their own voices, mistaking them for the voice of God. Hence, the word of God says: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12).
Draw near to God and God will draw near to you. Consider your ways be wise. Do everything possible to hear the VOICE of God in Christ Jesus. He will never lead you on the wrong path. It makes Christianity truly enjoyable. Learn to fast, pray and worship God with all your heart, mind and might. The word of Gays says: “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them” (Acts 13:2). The Holy Spirit speaks to give you guidance, when he sees your sincerity, diligence, commitment and hunger for his work.
May you begin to hear from the Holy Spirit from today, in Jesus name. Amen.

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to “seek first the kingdom of God his righteousness”..Matt 6:33).
We stress that: Righteousness exalts a person (Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from all forms of bondage, ignorance, disease and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1; Rev 19:13). We emphasise that Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We avoid the dilution, misinterpretation or deliberate corruption of the words of God. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, aside from soul winning, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers with knowledge using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will be compelled to believe and exalt His holy name (Psalm 46:10).
One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Indeed, “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Prov 11:9). We are established by the righteousness in the word of God (Isa 54:14).

AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health.
