Dearly Beloved
This is the day the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.
Be sincere in all your dealings with God and man. The truth is that many people are not honest and sincere even in the Church and Mosque. There are many pretenders in the body of Christ. Unfortunately, not many people have spirit of discernment.
Our Lord and Saviour said it all in our memory verse: Do to others as you would like others do to you. If we can follow this single and apparently simple principle, life would be very much enjoyable as there will be much trust in relationships. A senior colleague once suggested to me that I am doing my spirituality in a simplistic way. My response was that there is nothing complex about the word of God. The gospel has been presented to man in a simple way and that may explain why many people take the bible for granted. We have to receive the gospel like little children. The Word of God is very sincere, transparent and honest . Do not try to play pranks with the Word. Men of God should not present the gospel in a complicated way.
Let us be sincere with the Word. Let’s us be sincere with one another. Let us be honest with one another. Let us be submissive to one another in love . Be sensitive to your spirit because there are many deceptive spirits out there. The word of God admonished:
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2Corinthian 11:3).
Stay connected to JESUS, the Word . He is the epitome of honesty. Desire knowledge and be enlightened.
Keep your thoughts and mind positive and healthy.
Ensure you think no evil against anyone.
Be merciful, compassionate and kind to one another.
Prayer Point
Father, please give us the grace of honesty and sincerity in our dealings with you and with men in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
